CSE 3.1 Government promotes economic progress by protecting the rights of individuals and supplying a few goods that are difficult to provide through markets.

The main insights of economics stem from understanding how individuals, by pursuing their interests, make choices that allow others to pursue their interests too. This social cooperation isn't guaranteed; it necessitates rules that encourage people to consider the concerns of others. The rules that achieve this remarkable outcome define the free market economy.
